I have been a reader and subscriber of Fark.com for many years. I’ve submitted many headlines, and even had a few greenlit. My absolute favorite greenlight was for this, back in March:
Carnival, the Windows ME of the cruising world, has yet another ship stuck in Safe Mode
It still makes me laugh, and reading the 102 comments people left, it was good for a chuckle for them as well.
So, I can’t believe it took until now for me to find out that my headline was one of the Headlines of the Week for March 10th – 16th:
That’s just plain awesome. It probably won’t get any traction in the Headline of the Year contest, but I am still mighty pleased with how this little gem turned out.
